One of the greatest advantages of staying in a villa is the personalised service provided by a team of experienced and friendly staff. Villa Pangi Gita’s staff offer exceptional Balinese hospitality and, having worked at the villa for many years, most of them have a wealth of knowledge about the villa and the local area. The villa manager and chef will be only too happy to discuss any specific requirements to ensure guests have a relaxed and enjoyable stay.
In addition to preparing dishes from the villa’s Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, Pangi Gita’s chef is happy to meet your special meal requests.
Pangi Gita’s reliable chauffeur knows everything worth knowing about the local area: where to shop (and where not to); which are the hottest restaurants – and how to get a table; where to buy decent wines, and the best surf and beach spots. And for day or half-day trips exploring the Island, he’s your man. Full day car and driver hire (up to 8 consecutive hours) incurs a cost of US$35++.
A gardener visits Villa Pangi Gita daily to maintain the immaculate gardens and swimming pool.
Security guards, working in shifts, provide night-time security at Villa Pangi Gita.
The warm and friendly villa attendants Made and Ayu look after daily housekeeping, serve guest meals and fulfil special requests.
Villa Pangi Gita’s experienced manager, Putri, attends the villa daily and is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. She leads the staff team to meet the expectations of guests.
Our experienced in-house chef is at your service to prepare delicious home-style meals throughout the day. Villa Pangi Gita offers a suggestion menu featuring a wide variety of Asian and international dishes to cater to all tastes, with an excellent selection of vegetarian options.
Enjoying a fresh fruit juice and delicious cooked breakfast as the morning sun lights up Pangi Gita’s enchanting garden, is a great way to start your day. And be sure to sample some of the local Balinese delicacies such as pepes ikan (fish wrapped in banana leaf) or babi guling (suckling pig) during your stay. If you have specific requests, the chef is more than happy to tailor meals accordingly and accommodate any special dietary requirements.
Groceries and beverages are charged at market price (plus a 20% handling fee which is subject to service and tax at the prevailing rate). You will be requested to provide grocery money in advance, and the staff will do the shopping and keep the receipts for reference. To make the most of the kitchen and give staff time to shop, it is a good idea to plan meals the evening before.
The villa’s team of friendly staff will make children feel as welcome as adults, and having these willing helpers on hand gives guests plenty of flexibility and freedom to do their own exploring beyond the villa grounds (full-time babysitting incurs a small extra cost). The chef is happy to tailor the villa menu to include all the usual children’s favourites and although you are welcome to prepare meals for fussy eaters or babies in the villa kitchen, the staff will be happy to do this for you – just let the villa manager know your requirements and schedules and the rest will be taken care of.
When the villa and its gardens have been thoroughly explored and you seek adventures further afield, check out our Things to Do page. There’s plenty in the area to keep all the family amused throughout the holiday, and the beach is just two short kilometres down the road.
